about

Diving head-on into chance operations, process-based composition, and extended performance techniques, Luciernaga and John Lindaman fuse the fearlessness of contemporary composition with the directness and energy of the underground.

Luciernaga (Joao DaSilva of the mighty Fabrica Records) brings experimentalism out of the conservatory and straight to the people. “Hesitation Blues Revisited” is presented live, and as such not only contains the rolling energy of DaSilva’s meditative drones, but also the communal spirit of live performance.

To contrast, John Lindaman (True Love Always) recedes deep into the introvert’s corner, employing chance operations to meticulously layer note values into saturated bodies of pulsating harmonics. Expertly crafting an assortment of rich drones, Lindaman skillfully shows or hides the guitar as the source of his meditations with confidence and restraint simultaneously.
