Two of the synth underground’s most prolific and skilled purveyors of ambient moods join forces to present a deeply hypnotic serotonin/dopamine one-two punch.

Leaaves (Nate Wagner of Lord Bendtner and Spare No Expanse) artfully layers airy pads and queasy melodies to evoke maximum emotion with minimal cheese. Perfect for summer sun or autumn rain, Wagner’s zones effortlessly communicate both and neither.

Opaline (Hunter P. Thompson, also of Akasha System) offers a single longform piece that cycles through endless permutations of arpeggiated polyrhythms, anchored and propelled by deep and steady synth pads. The continual rearrangement of layers and extended run time manifests the sound of the eternal nature of the titular amaranth.
